I teach graphic design at Woxsen School of Arts & Design, working with B.Des students on how a brand is built, not just how it looks. One of my slides says it best: a logo is a promise you can draw.

Introduction to Graphic Design is where it begins: colour, type, grids and composition, sketching ideas by hand and building them in Illustrator and Photoshop.

My Branding & Identity course starts with research and strategy: studying brands that work and finding out why. From there students design their own visual identities, from logos and typography to colour, then carry them across print, digital and physical spaces and pull it all together in brand guidelines.
